Computer certifications are attained by passing required exams created
by companies and organizations like
Microsoft
and CompTIA.
These exams are given at testing centers administered by
Prometric and
VUE. Below are some of
the more basic and popular certifications for computer/network support
grouped by category.
Desktop Support
CompTIA A+ Computer Technician Certification

support.
Requirements: Two exams required - A+ Core Hardware and A+ OS

system (OS) configuration knowledge and skills are essential for
supporting desktop computer systems.
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
